Many people in our country are either out of work, or getting paid less than they used to. The poverty rate in our country is higher than ever. People everywhere are struggling to get enough income to pay all the bills and support their families. Even the people who still have jobs are finding it hard to make ends meet and generate enough income. Most homes now are no longer able to survive off of just one income. It seems like we all have to work and even then, sometimes it still isn’t enough.
Anyone working an hourly job knows that because business everywhere is slower than it normally is in a good economy, employers are letting people go early and cutting their hours. We do our very best work at our jobs so that our employers will value and need us more, but still we find that they are cutting hours everywhere. This makes it even harder to make enough money to make ends meet.
Some of us, if we are lucky are able to obtain a salaried position. This can be really great because then at least we always know how much money to expect. When the pay is enough we can create a strict budget and be able to make ends meet. There is of course a down side to this too.
The truth is lots of salaried workers make less money than the hourly workers. Employers like having salaried people in their company because no matter how many hours they put in every month, their remuneration is the same. This can be a double whammy to a salaried person because they never have time off to see their kids play that important soccer game or take them to a football game.
Working life has always been something of a vicious circle. When we work an hourly job we get sent home early and can see our families for once but we don’t work enough hours to pay for the bare necessities, let alone a family hockey outing. As salaried workers, we make enough to support the family but have no time for the family hockey outing. There has got to be a better way.
There actually is a happy medium. Thanks to new technology, we have a new and interesting compromise to consider. We can start our own online business. With the right software, support and dogged determination, we can make our business into a success. Online businesses are doing very well, allowing the entrepreneur to make enough money to pay the bills and have the flexibility to go to their kid’s softball game and take the entire family out to a football game.
We would probably all agree that family comes first. Part of putting our family first though is putting a roof over their heads and food on the table. Sometimes it can be hard to find a balance between working and spending time at home with the family. When we are our own bosses we get choose the hours we work so we never have to miss anything with our family.
The number of successful online businesses is testimony to the viability of online entrepreneurship. Given the right software for your business and substantial support, anyone with the will and determination can create their own cyber-enterprise. How wonderful must it be to realize that finally your earnings depend on your own merit.
